Mentoring, coaching and sharing of practice experiences
In this section of our website you will find materials relating to mentoring, coaching and the sharing of practice experiences. It is work in progress and over the coming weeks materials will be added to the website as they are developed.
We have created a set of overarching principles of good practice to ensure the effective development of trainee teachers, experienced teachers and other professionals within our partnership.
- To support these principles we are producing guidelines in relation to:
- Individual Learning Plans for practitioners
- Mentoring and coaching practice
- Moderation and standardisation of teaching observations
- Observations of teaching and learning
- Reflecting on practice
- Sharing of practice experiences
Each of these guidelines will be supported by guidance notes and accompanying exemplars from practice supplied either by our partners or created specifically by our CETT.
